Ava and the Midnight Splash

Ava is bright, bold, and full of imagination. During the day, she’s the queen of cartwheels, the fastest reader in class, and a professional dinosaur growler. But at night, something keeps happening that makes Ava feel small: she wets the bed.

And even though she tries to keep it a secret,  sneaking pajamas into the laundry and hiding her wet sheets,  the secret feels heavier every time. She worries that people will laugh, or think she’s a baby. Worst of all, she starts to wonder if something’s wrong with her.

With the help of her warm and understanding mom, Ava learns that bedwetting is more common than she thinks, that it’s not her fault, and that growing up doesn’t mean being perfect. Together, they make a bedtime plan, celebrate progress (not perfection), and discover that bravery doesn’t mean never having accidents , it means being kind to yourself when you do.
